What's to Eat?

 

We pride ourselves on the genuine German nature of our Oktoberfest, especially the delicacies prepared in our kitchen (Hausgemacht or Homemade) by German-Americans in the old world tradition. Our sausages are made by Geier's Sausage Kitchen in Sarasota, Fl. Our rolls, bread and pretzels are also made in the German tradition.  Here's our Authentic menu:

Bavarian Pretzels - Nothing goes better with a cold German beer than a big soft pretzel fresh from the oven!


History gives the nod to the invention of the pretzel by a Monk who resided in either Northern Italy or Southern France. But it sure didn't take long to make its way across the Alps to Bavaria where the Pretzel (or Brezl) was perfected by the Germans. All over Bavaria one can find delicious pretzels. Especially at Oktoberfest, they are slightly crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. All around Munich you will see people enjoying a mid-morning breakfast of these wonderful Brez'n accompanied by a tall Weissbier and Weisswurst (white sausages) with mustard. You have to try it!
