Join us for dinner and/or dancing every Sat. night 

 

The German American Society is indisputably the principal German American organization of Tampa Bay. We celebrate 61 years in Pinellas County in 2012.

Each year we produce an accurate and genuine representation of the world's largest and most famous Oktoberfest held annually in Munich Germany. 

Our Tampa Bay festival, hosted by Germans, is totally authentic. The food is German in every detail along with the beer which is brewed in Germany just for Oktoberfest. The music, ceremonies and original ethnic costumes, decorations and atmosphere are what you’ll find in Munich. The event faithfully resembles the original based on traditional ceremonies, events, activities and history.

Our Kitchen serves home cooked style meals 6-8:30pm

Since 1951, the German American Society of Pinellas has been Tampa Bay's number one German Association. We have embraced German traditions, culture, heritage and celebrate the contributions Germans have made to the American landscape. Our goal is to preserve the best of those customs and traditions brought to American shores forover  400 years by German immigrants, one of the most well known of these traditions is Oktoberfest.

Every Saturday night we dance to live band music and offer great German food and drink. We enjoy Gemütlichkeit, that feeling of warmth and friendship shared by our members and guests. Our weekly band information is listed under Events.
